As in any fishing harbour there are lots of small craft sat waiting patiently for their owners.

These few boats grouped together looking towards the village expectantly inspired this drawing

This house is a source of inspiration for me - the top half is painted bright orange and stands out against the grey of it’s neighbours. I’ve cmpleted several

works recently that includes this house overlooking Mevagissey’s inner harbour.

Ink and wash on paper

This is a cropped section of a bundle of fishing net alongside Mevagisey harbour.

The metal rings are rusting and have beautiful colours and marks on them and inspire other ideas for further works here in other mediums at a later date.

This is taken from a cropped section of a photgraph taken of a crashing wave,

I used charcoal to look at the tonal qualities and shapes to create an abstract image.

FOR SALE

Graphite on paper 6″ x 5″

This is taken from a cropped photo taken at the local cove. Backed by dunes

which are protected by  a row of tumbling fencing. A towel thrown over the fence

gave them a lonely forgotton air that took my interest.
